Yesterday, Audrey, Raquel, and I took a trip to UT. We spent 10 hours on campus! Here are some pictures from our adventure:

The dorm I'm probably going to stay in. It was built in 1922, and it's a private dorm across from the UT campus and only 10 minutes walking distance from the biology/chemistry buildings. :)

This trip to UT made me realize just how close college is. Time flies. Here's to fun days, best friends, and wonderful memories :)

So I'm finally updating Thank goodness school is out, and guess what, I'm a senior! '07. My summer has been pretty good so far. I haven't done much except hang out with friends and with Nathan, practice violin, and take the SAT. I'm leaving on Wednesday to go to West Virginia to visit relatives. My dad wrote a book about his teenage years growing up in Barboursville, WV, so he's having a book signing and a couple of radio interviews later this week. It should be fun.

So here's the latest violin news. A couple of weeks ago, Alex, Lauren, Nathan, and I played the Dvorak American quartet for Alex's recital. It is an awesome piece! Now, Lauren, Nathan, and I are working on the Brahms Trio No.1 for violin, cello, and piano. It is the most gorgeous piece in the world! Also, I was invited to go to this music camp in Portugal, but I had to turn it down for alot of reasons. One such reason being I've been having alot of pains in my hand, more than likely as a reult of playing violin. It's really sad when you're dreaming of majoring in music, but you can barely play without sharp pains going up and down your hand.

Well, I'm finally updating. It's been almost 3 months! Wow. Alot has happened. Our orchestra went to Dallas, which was awesome! We had the Virtuosi gala during which the conductors rode out on motorcycles wearing cowboy hats haha. Our orchestra banquet was Friday, which was fun. I got the outstanding music theory award!!! And I forgot my violin to Virtuosi. Yes, I know I'm a blonde haha. Thanks to Cooper, Peter, and Nathan who continuously made fun of me that rehearsal :)
